TPEG NavTest available from Gewi

Leading traffic information software provider Gewi has announced that the popular TIC product now is available as "TIC as a data service". The company says this will allow its customers to be able to test their TPEG over HTTP enabled navigation devices.

RSSLeading traffic information software provider 1862 GEWI has announced that the popular TIC product now is available as "TIC as a data service". The company says this will allow its customers to be able to test their TPEG over HTTP enabled navigation devices.

With TIC, users will be able to manually create their own incident and flow data which will be automatically created into TPEG TEC and TPEG TFP messages. Users can also send TPEG over HTTP request over the Internet, then receiving TPEG responses via the Internet. And, all that is required to use these features is a Microsoft Internet Explorer brower.

"This is the first time TPEG testing technology has been available with just a browser based tool" says Gewi CEO Hagen Geppert. "We expect this to be a very popular product with our navigation customers.”
