Kritek and Skyline partner on smart city solutions

US companies Kritek and Skyline Products have formed a strategic partnership which will see Kritek’s Klover software-as-a-service (SaaS) smart transportation platform integrated with Skyline’s NTCIP-compliant dynamic message signs, with the aim of offering new turnkey smart city solutions. Klover-enabled signs are securely accessible from the cloud, so they can be easily integrated into Klover’s workflows and managed from anywhere at any time.

Klover-enabled signs are securely accessible from the cloud, so they can be easily integrated into Klover’s workflows and managed from anywhere at any time.

Kritek and Skyline will initially focus on offering Smart Trip Travel Times that estimate route times for drivers, with plans to incorporate other turnkey solutions for smart cities, such as parking availability, pedestrian and bicycle safety, and transit.

According to Pawan Kharbanda, CEO of Kritek, customers are looking for turnkey solutions that tightly integrate software and hardware to solve specific transportation needs. The partnership with Skyline aims to provide an out-of-the-box solution to for transportation agencies.
