Next-generation cloud-based traffic control

Supplier of in radar speed displays and variable message signs, 6966 All Traffic Solutions, has selected ThingWorx to support advanced application development for its SmartApps web-based traffic control suite. All Traffic’s cloud-based SmartApps suite allows law enforcement organisations, as well as state and local agencies, to remotely monitor, manage, and interact with traffic safety signs using a web-based application and virtual map.

To support increased customer demand for new features and an overall increase in application sophistication, All Traffic chose the ThingWorx platform to deliver the next generation of application functionality for SmartApps.   The ThingWorx platform will enable All Traffic to support the ongoing sophistication required within its SmartApps solution by rapidly developing mobile interfaces using the ThingWorx Mashup Builder.  The platform will also provide more comprehensive business system integration, and offer advanced data mining for customers requesting predictive analytics for traffic control.

The next generation of development for SmartApps will take advantage of the ThingWorx rapid application development environment, business application integration, and usability tools to deliver improved value for All Traffic’s customers. The solution will continue to provide efficiencies for local law enforcement organisations while offering useful predictive data for better planning and traffic safety programs.
