524 Clary Corporation, a specialist in uninterruptible power systems (UPS) for traffic control applications, has launched the SP560 Universal Power Conditioner / UPS featuring online, dual conversion technology.

Designed for indoor/outdoor use and for extreme environments from -40oC to +74oC, the SP560 Universal Power Conditioner is a power factor corrected 400 watt, 570VA device designed to enhance utility power or repair failing utility power in IT or security cabinets. The unit can also operate as an online, dual conversion, UPS when the optional Outpost series battery pack is configured. Clary says this optional feature can extend the reliability of the cabinet when utility power fails (black out) or falters (brown out). The SP560 system also protects the cabinet by insuring that no harmful power artifacts arrive at the cabinet to destroy or degrade the cabinet electronics.

Other features include on-line, conditioned remanufactured power for cabinet equipment protection, and USB ports for communication with monitoring centre or other equipment via USB or optional USB adapters, while Clary's industry proven on-line, truesinewave power protects the cabinet 100% of the time to insure reliable and continuous error-free operation.
