Sensys appoints new director for Australasia, Singapore, and Malaysia

Phillip Walsh, principal manager, intelligent transport systems at VicRoads in Melbourne, Australia, is joining Sensys Networks as director Australasia, Singapore and Malaysia, effective 11 July, 2011. Most recently, Walsh has been responsible for the operation and development of VicRoads central ITS, as well as management of technical standards and strategic alignment of projects. RSSPhillip Walsh, principal manager, intelligent transport systems at 4728 VicRoads in Melbourne, Australia, is joining 119 Sensys Networks as director Australasia, Singapore and Malaysia, effective 11 July, 2011. Most recently, Walsh has been responsible for the operation and development of VicRoads central ITS, as well as management of technical standards and strategic alignment of projects. In his previous role at VicRoads, Walsh was project director, freeway management system, responsible for developing and implementing the Freeway Management System—a key component of the $1.39 billion (Aus) M1 Project.

Walsh will work with 4547 Central Weighing, the Sensys Systems’ distributor in Australia and New Zealand, to ensure customer satisfaction with the company’s products and support, addressing market strategy and needs in Southeast Asia, with special emphasis on Singapore and Malaysia.
