New York Mayor announces new senior policy advisor

Sabrina Sussman has joined the Office of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio as the senior policy advisor in the Federal Affairs Office. Sussman was previously with the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) where she was vice-president for Membership and Development and prior to that was chief of staff to the under-secretary for Policy at the US Department of Transportation. Sabrina Sussman has joined the Office of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio as the senior policy advisor in the Federal Affairs Office.

Sussman was previously with the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (560 ITS America) where she was vice-president for Membership and Development and prior to that was chief of staff to the under-secretary for Policy at the 324 US Department of Transportation.
 
In her new role, she will oversee federal policy and legislative priorities for the transportation, housing and economic development portfolios. As Washington transitions to the next President and next Congress, she will also be working to identify key opportunities for New York City during the first 100 days and opportunities to collaborate with leading cities, organisations and policy leaders.
