Lime and its competitors Tier and Voi have formed the Nordic Micromobility Association to promote safety standards for electric scooters.
The association will seek to strengthen relationships between Nordic cities and micromobility businesses as well as reduce emissions.
Earlier this year, Voi announced its plans to launch e-scooters in Lisbon as part of a wider ambition to expand in Europe.

The deadline for the ITS World Congress 2015 Call for Papers and Special Interest Sessions submission is fast approaching. Authors must submit technical, scientific, commercial papers and special interest sessions by 19 January. No extensions will be granted.
Bus operator Nobina is to acquire parts of public transport company Örslev Holding to offer special public transport services in Denmark.
The scope of the DKr.15.5 million (£1.8m) deal includes 16 buses which offer regular services in South Zealand coastal area and 21 buses for special needs transportation.
