Kapsch presents mobility solutions for smart cities at TRA Vienna

Three Kapsch subsidiaries will showcase smart mobility solutions for road and rail at the Transport Research Arena (TRA), in Vienna, from 16-19 April. Three 81 Kapsch subsidiaries will showcase smart mobility solutions for road and rail at the Transport Research Arena (TRA), in Vienna, from 16-19 April. The company will discuss how the Austrian technology group contributes to modern traffic management.

These subsidiaries include Kapsch TrafficCom, Kapsch CarrierCom and Kapsch PublicTransportCom.

Georg Kapsch, chief executive officer of the Kapsch, will discuss the impact of digitalisation on transportation and mobility. He will also provide a session on How Digitalisation is transforming the Transport & Mobility System.

Alexander Lewald, chief technology officer of Kapsch TrafficCom, will present Safe and Efficient Transport through Connectivity and Automation while Oliver Brandl, from Kapsch TrafficCom’s Business Development Solution Centre, Connected Vehicles, will deliver Automated Transport: Enabling Methods and Technologies. In addition, Michael Mikulandra, X2Rail-1 TD2.1 lead and head of industry appliance next generation, will speak at the Digitising the Transport Systems session.
 
Presentations will involve Smart Urban Mobility and Integrated Mobility Management, an Integrated Mobility Platform demo, Connected Vehicles, Digitalisation in Railway Communications which will include an exhibition of a next-generation driver’s cabin and the mobi.mobile app suite for mobile ticketing.

Kapsch will also hold a discussion that intends to answer questions on mobility of the future.
