“Systems that are redefining mobility and making our highways and vehicles safer,” according to Hopper. “In cities and communities across America, ITS technologies are saving lives, moving traffic and freight more efficiently, putting people in charge of their commute, and making life better. As Congress works to pass a long-term surface transportation bill this year, these proposals provide a critical roadmap for encouraging innovation and building a smarter, more connected and convenient multimodal transportation network.”
