Iteris becomes partner for Cisco's IoT solutions

Iteris has been appointed a solution technology integrator partner for Cisco Transportation’s Internet of Things (IoT) segment.

Iteris is to incorporate Cisco technology into its smart transportation solutions and communication systems for current and future projects.

The company says this will allow its Intersection as a Service offering to support advanced capabilities for edge processing, as well as larger datasets and connected vehicle applications feeding into its mobility intelligence platform and wider analytics solutions.

As part of the agreement, Iteris is to resell Cisco hardware and software to public agencies with a focus on smart transportation.
