As a continuation of the International Road Federation (8076 IRF Washington) e-learning webinar series, the IRF Road Safety Subcommittee on Work Zones and Temporary Traffic Control Safety is to present a webinar on Pedestrian Safety in the Work Zone on 29 April.

This can be especially true for pedestrians with disabilities.  This webinar will examine the issue of pedestrian safety and identify best practices and other considerations to facilitate the safe and proper flow of pedestrian traffic during construction. Whilst worker and motorist safety is an important consideration for any work zone, pedestrian safety is also an important issue in and around work zones.

The webinar takes place from 1100 to 1230 eastern time.  Additional information and registration can be found %$Linker: 2 External <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?><dictionary /> 0 0 0 oLinkExternal here Visit pedestrian safety in the work zone page false https://www.irfnews.org/event/pedestrian-safety-in-the-work-zone false false%>.
