IRD to deliver weigh-in-motion and data collection equipment to TISSI

International Road Dynamics (IRD) will provide weigh-in-motion and data collection equipment to Total Innovative Security Solutions (TISSI) in the Philippines, in a contract valued $1m. The equipment will be used in vehicle control and road monitoring projects. 69 International Road Dynamics (IRD) will provide weigh-in-motion and data collection equipment to Total Innovative Security Solutions (TISSI) in the Philippines, in a contract valued $1m. The equipment will be used in vehicle control and road monitoring projects.


Randy Hanson, IRD’s president and CEO, says the contracts underline the company's commitment and positive relationship with TISSI.

The equipment includes portable weigh-in-motion axle weighers and high speed virtual weigh-in-motion systems. The data collected from the permanent high-speed weigh-in-motion systems will include axle and gross vehicle weights, axle spacing, vehicle classification, vehicle side-view images, license plate images and vehicle speed information.

Additionally, IRD will deliver traffic counters and classifiers for data collection in permanent and temporary applications.
