The iMobility Challenge, a high-level technology demonstration day during which visitors, both public and professionals, can take the driver's seat and experience the latest mobility applications takes place on Wednesday 11 September 2013 Valkenburg Airport, Katwijk in the Netherlands.  Participants will get an overview of a diverse variety of technologies, systems, services & actual deployment examples in the field of efficient, cooperative, smart and safe mobility.

The iMobility Challenge event will be full of new technology and innovations. At the event, visitors will be able to see, drive and experience how vehicles are able to communicate with other vehicles or to roadside systems. Visitors will be able to see and experience the latest developments in the field of electric driving and learn how to drive as efficient as possible. In addition, the latest developments in the field of road safety and intelligent infrastructure will be shown.
 
Organised by the Royal Dutch Touring Club (481 ANWB) and the  7113 Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) supported by the 1690 European Commission, the iMobility Challenge is part of the European iMobility Challenge Project. This two year project aims at promoting vehicle systems for intelligent mobility with a particular focus on cooperative systems and energy efficiency.
 
The Challenge is part of the FIA Conference Week which takes place in the Hague from 9-13 September., and will be attended by representatives of the world’s leading motoring organisations, mobility experts, universities and polytechnics, industry suppliers, (inter)national policy makers, politicians and other dignitaries, as well as the media.
