GTT appoints dealer for Australasia

US-based traffic systems supplier Global Traffic Technologies (GTT) has appointed Aldridge Traffic Controllers (ATC) as its dealer for Australia, New Zealand and China. GTT will join ATC on its booth at the ITS World Congress to be held in Melbourne in October, where the two companies will host a live demonstration of GTT's Opticom system, which provides public transport and emergency vehicles with priority at traffic signal intersections. US-based traffic systems supplier 542 Global Traffic Technologies (GTT) has appointed Aldridge Traffic Controllers (ATC) as its dealer for Australia, New Zealand and China. GTT will join ATC on its booth at the ITS World Congress to be held in Melbourne in October, where the two companies will host a live demonstration of GTT's Opticom system, which provides public transport and emergency vehicles with priority at traffic signal intersections.

ATC provides traffic management and signalling products and systems and is an authorised distributor of the SCATS urban traffic management control system, which can be integrated with GTT's Opticom traffic signal priority solutions. ATC designed and developed the latest SCATS traffic signal controller, ATSC4, which is now controlling more than 3,500 intersections globally, with over 700 intersections operating in China.

GTT's full Opticom and Canoga product lines will be available through ATC.
