Ford Smart Mobility acquires Journey Holding

Ford Smart Mobility (FSM) has acquired technology company Journey Holding to help cities deliver more accessible transportation systems. Journey Holding will integrate its software solutions with FSM's TransLoc, a provider of technology solutions for on-demand and fixed route systems for public and private transit operations. Ford Smart Mobility (FSM) has acquired technology company Journey Holding to help cities deliver more accessible transportation systems.


Journey Holding will integrate its software solutions with FSM's TransLoc, a provider of technology solutions for on-demand and fixed route systems for public and private transit operations.

Moovit says the deal will allow its users to access multiple public and private transit services, such as bike rentals, car-sharing, ride-sharing, electric scooters and shared taxis. Wondo’s services will be available to Moovit users from September in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla, Bilbao, Lisbon and Porto.
