Flir Systems acquires Acyclica

US-based Flir Systems has acquired Acyclica, a developer of software for automotive roadway and intersection data generation and analysis. James Cannon, president and CEO of Flir Systems, says the deal will aid the company's mission in providing complete traffic optimisation solutions. US-based 6778 Flir Systems has acquired Acyclica, a developer of software for automotive roadway and intersection data generation and analysis.

James Cannon, president and CEO of Flir Systems, says the deal will aid the company's mission in providing complete traffic optimisation solutions.

Acyclica offers solutions which provide high-resolution, real-time traffic information to transportation department end-users to help make roads safer and reduce congestion.

The Acyclica business will be part of Flir’s ITS division within the firm’s commercial business unit.
