Conduent appoints John Peracchio to newly-created mobility solutions role

Conduent Transportation has appointed John Peracchio to the newly-created role of general manager, mobility solutions and strategy. 8612 Conduent Transportation has appointed John Peracchio to the newly-created role of general manager, mobility solutions and strategy.

Based in Detroit, Peracchio will identify emerging technologies as well as seek new business opportunities for the company.

Conduent Transportation CEO Mick Slattery says Peracchio has more than 30 years of experience and has most recently focused on how intelligent transportation products and technologies are deployed.

"These include connected vehicle technologies, tolling innovations, and smart parking and other systems that improve safety, mobility and sustainability," Slattery adds.

Peracchio moves from his position as senior vice president at Harman Becker Automotive Systems. Since 2007, he has been a consultant providing advice to businesses, investors and public entities.

Peracchio has also chaired the Michigan Council on Future Mobility, an advisory panel within the state’s Department of Transportation. It advises the state governor and legislature on policies that will lead to the adoption of technologies associated with connected and automated vehicles and enhancing personal mobility.
