Car2go expands electric car-sharing service to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

Car2go has expanded its electric car-sharing service to provide members with an environmentally friendly option for travelling between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and the capital city. The company says its customers will have access to a 24/7 service, 16 parking spaces and eight charging stations in the public garage of the World Trade Center at Schiphol. 4190 Car2go has expanded its electric car-sharing service to provide members with an environmentally friendly option for travelling between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and the capital city.

The company says its customers will have access to a 24/7 service, 16 parking spaces and eight charging stations in the public garage of the World Trade Center at Schiphol.

Users can pick up an electric smart Fortwo vehicle at a Car2go hub close to the airport terminal.

According to Car2go, regular rates in Amsterdam are priced at €0.31 per minute. Members will also be charged an additional airport fee of €8.90 per trip.
