Electronic and mechanical data from buses is analysed and presented to drivers and company managers using different KPIs and representation techniques such as heat maps. On-board units can also provide real-time suggestions to drivers as they go along. ADN says fuel consumption improvements of up to 10% can be achieved. The open-source software can be integrated with existing third-party systems such as automatic vehicle monitoring (AVM). Bled has been used by Seville public bus operator 6387 TUSSAM, where the company says its deployment has led to fewer vehicle accidents and reduced driver stress. Other major fleet customers include ALSA 1002 National Express Spain and Morocco.
ChargePoint Services is to install its GeniePoint Network electric vehicle (EV) chargers across all Morrisons supermarkets in the UK.
ChargePoint says its 50-100kW rapid chargers will allow customers to refuel their EV in around 20 minutes.
