7192 Volvo Cars Finland is to enhance its 2014 models by including 2025 Mediamobile’s V-Traffic TMC real time traffic information on all cars equipped with Sensus infotainment and RTI navigation systems.

The V-Traffic Premium TMC service provide drivers with real-time information on traffic incidents on the Finnish main road network and improves turn by turn navigation by estimating the best route and estimated travel time depending on traffic conditions.

"The Volvo Sensus infotainment system with its many options is a great example of how Volvo cars brings the latest technology to its customers." says product manager Erik Kanerva, Volvo Cars Finland. “By collaborating with Mediamobile we provide our customers with the best traffic service, for the lifetime of their vehicle”.

"Drivers often rely on the content and services offered by their smartphone inside their car. However, the phone remains a major source of distraction whilst driving. By bringing traffic information into the navigation system, Volvo Cars pushes the road safety boundaries further.” says Matti Seimola, sales and marketing at Mediamobile Nordic. “Our collaboration with Volvo Cars Finland will increase the awareness of the many benefits onboard real-time traffic brings, from both a comfort and safety point of view."
