Devices such as IP surveillance cameras, scanners and wireless access points within mobile and industrial settings may be integrated without the use of separate 48V power supplies, while four PoE injector switch ports provide full 6781 IEEE 802.3af support, enabling connection of a wide range of PoE devices.

Designed for reliable deployment in harsh conditions, with a rugged heat-dissipating IP30-rated industrial aluminum housing, the device features a wide operating temperature range, redundant power inputs, port alarms, and reliable data transmission with support for QoS (quality of service), ensuring high quality video traffic transmission by adjusting the data transfer priority to guarantee throughput performance.

“The ES7106-VB is an excellent solution for transportation security, industrial applications, and IT environments where the ease-of-use and reliability of drop-in PoE connectivity is essential,” says Comtrol’s President, Bradford Beale.
