8295 Teracue has expanded its ICUE-IPTV product family to include an IP-based multi-room video wall for network conferencing, control rooms, digital signage, events and presentations. The system uses the IP network to distribute the signals; each display has its own rear-mounted processing unit and the combined performance of the distributed units is managed by the web-based ICUE-GRID controller that can handle multiple walls in multiple rooms. ICUE-GRID is a scalable decentralised solution, offering flexible positioning of videos up to 4K on the video wall and live streams and on-demand files can be dragged and dropped into the layout. Embedded bezel correction allows the monitors to use with any frame size.

Iteris is using Intertraffic to introduce two important safety innovations. The first is a new video-based bicycle detection system, SmartCycle, which the company says has the unique capability of distinguishing bicycles from other vehicles on the road in any lane. This process provides a special output that is sent to the traffic controller to extend the green time when bicycles are detected, allowing them to safely cross the intersection before the light changes. “Cycling is a way of life in Amsterd

Locations on both the East and West Coasts of the US are scheduled for early deployments of IBM's new Traffic Prediction Tool (TPT) statistical analysis model for the fine-time resolution and near-term prediction of road flow conditions. Developed by IBM's Watson Research Laboratories, TPT is designed to analyse data from the the key detection indicators - average vehicle volumes and speeds passing a location in a given time interval -

Image Sensing Systems (ISS) has added a wrong way detection and notification system designed to alert drivers travelling the wrong way along on-ramps. The Automatic Incident Detection (AID) wrong way alerting solution can detect multiple lanes of traffic using a single camera and provides accurate detection and fast notification to help improve the safety performance of roadways. The system uses high-definition video stream from ISS’ patented RTMS Sx-300 HDCAM radar product, providing radar-based data
