Ethernet option for EDI signal monitors

July 30, 2012 Read time: 1 min

Eberle Design Incorporated (EDI) has added the option of a 10/100Mb/s Ethernet communications port to the industry-standard SSM-12LEip and SSM-6LEip signal monitors for NEMA TS-1 users.

The Ethernet signal monitors along with EDI ECcom software provides technicians with immediate access to the right tools when responding to intersection cabinets that have malfunctioned, thus eliminating long delays in restoring intersection operations.

EDI ECcom software (which can be downloaded free at www.editraffic.com/ eccom.html) provides a user with the capability to retrieve, display, store and print real-time status and historical data, as well as multiple signal sequence logs, providing a graphical view of the signal states for up to 30s prior to a fault event.
