ComNet managed Ethernet switch

Communication Networks (ComNet) has introduced a high-capacity managed Ethernet switch. The Comworx CNGE2FE24MSPoE is the company's first environmentally hardened Managed Ethernet Switch to provide a high port density in a compact package and provides Power over Ethernet to peripheral devices such as IP cameras and video encoders. The device makes available 24 10/100TX ports and two 1000Mbps combo ports that utilise easily interchangeable small form factor pluggable optic devices as optical interfaces.

Communication Networks (30 ComNet) has introduced a high-capacity managed Ethernet switch.

This hardened Ethernet switch is designed to operate in environments where extremes of temperature and vibration are a consideration. All 24 ports support IEEE.802.3af based-PoE. Two ports are Gigabit configurable for copper or fibre media for use with multimode or single mode optical fibre, selected by optional SFP modules.

Machine vision technology’s entry into the ITS/traffic management sector has followed a classic top-down path. This is unsurprising given the extremely demanding performance criteria which are the standard in its market of origin, manufacturing processing. Very high image qualities combined with frame rates often in the hundreds per second range resulted in vision systems with capabi
