Tyco to acquire Visonic

Tyco International has reached an agreement to acquire Visonic, a developer and manufacturer of electronic security systems and components, for approximately US$100 million in cash. The acquisition will strengthen the wireless product and technology portfolio and market presence of the Tyco Security Products business in the intrusion security market.

    France-headquartered tolling system specialist CS has announced that it has received a binding offer from Sanef Group to acquire its ITS business unit. The deal would allow CS ITS, which employs some 220 people and registered € 31.4 million (US$38.96 million) revenues in 2011, to take full advantage of a growing tolling system market.
