The U.S. Department of Transportation ITS Joint Program Office will host a new three-part webinar series emphasizing the latest trends and developments in ITS deployment. It aims to support informed decision making on ITS investments, highlight recent additions to the survey and obtain feedback from participants on how to redesign the portal to improve its use and value.

ITS Deployment Tracking: 2016 Survey Findings on Current Levels and Trends will focus on key findings from the 2016 survey and explore trends in ITS deployment. It will also provide an insight into whether the adoption of adaptive traffic signals by aerial agencies still occurs at a rapid pace and how transportation agencies use social media to gather and distribute information on travel conditions and schedules. The session will commence on the 20 February 2018 from 1:00am to 2:00pm.

In Addition, the ITS Deployment Tracking Survey: Connected Vehicle Technologies and Beyond is an interactive session which will seek participant feedback on the types of advanced technologies and deployment information that future tracking surveys should collect. It will gather input on how it can be more valuable to deplorers, planners, researchers and policy makers. The course will be delivered on the 06 March 2018 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.

Updating the ITS knowledge Resource Databases to Better Analyze, Plan, and Evaluate Your ITS Projects will also pursue feedback on what content would be most valuable for planning and evaluating projects and how the resource can be redesigned to meet user needs. It will take place on the 27 March 2018.
