Wireless data solutions supplier 8062 Intuicom is to expand the wireless traffic communications system in Castle Rock, Colorado, in conjunction with the town’s transportation and traffic network initiative currently in deployment.

Intuicom’s BroadBand Solutions (BBS) radios will provide a scalable wireless interconnection for the town’s traffic signal controllers while enabling centralised monitoring and management of the entire traffic network from the town’s traffic operations centre.

Expansion in the town’s population is a key driver behind the its investment in upgrading the transportation network, moving to a centrally-managed traffic control system, with the aim of deploying a system capable of reducing driver delays and better serving the community’s transportation needs.
