Intuicom expands TxDOT Laredo wireless traffic communications

Wireless solutions provider Intuicom, in conjunction with its authorised distributor, Twincrest Technologies, has supplied the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Laredo with additional wireless solutions to expand its wireless traffic communications network. Wireless solutions provider 8062 Intuicom, in conjunction with its authorised distributor, Twincrest Technologies, has supplied the 375 Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Laredo with additional wireless solutions to expand its wireless traffic communications network.

The system utilises Intuicom’s Nitro58 wireless broadband radios, augmented by the company’s BroadBandPro enterprise network management software. This software automatically discovers, configures, optimises and secures their Intuicom wireless network.

The combination provides TxDOT Laredo with reliable and secure high speed data communications connecting all the city’s intersections. This scalable wireless solution works seamlessly with their existing Trafficware Management System enabling the centralised monitoring and management of the entire traffic network from the City’s traffic operations centre.
