Launched at the 2015 998 International Transport Forum (ITF) in Leipzig, the latest mobile app from software manufacturer 3264 PTV Group combines tourist information, events programmes, transport information or the latest mobility options in a single app.

The city of Leipzig and the PTV Group worked on the project together as organisers of the ITF, which prepared the programme of events, while the city provided the sights and tourist information and PTV prepared the mobility portal and finalised the complete app.

PTV has already developed an app for the city of Karlsruhe, which also includes real-time transport information, up-to-date traffic information service, roadworks, parking spaces and park-and-ride options, along with the corresponding public transport timetables.

For both Leipzig and Karlsruhe, PTV has integrated the latest traffic information from data providers, Inrix and says other sources can also be connected.
