Egis acquires French software specialist

International engineering group 7319 Egis has strengthened its transportation infrastructure asset management portfolio with the acquisition of French software development specialist eMash.

eMash specialises in developing, installing and maintaining software for infrastructure asset management and delivers IT solutions for asset management, including inspection data processing, simulation, decision support, dynamic route diagrams and interactive mapping.  Already implemented on several motorway networks, eMash clients include Autoroutes Paris Rhin Rhône, Autoroutes Du Maroc and Egis Exploitation Aquitaine (A63 motorway).

Egis says that the new subsidiary, to be renamed Egis Asset Management Solutions, consolidates the company’s position as a specialist in asset management and strengthens its comprehensive range of project lifecycle services. It will allow Egis to foster its activities in this strategic field by providing adaptable, flexible and competitive turnkey solutions.
