69 International Road Dynamics’ (IRD) SAW III portable wheel load weigher is now available for dynamic weighing and its software enables users to efficiently pre-select overloaded trucks.

Two IRD SAW scales are paired and connected to a PC via Bluetooth in order that the vehicle wheel/axle weight is displayed on a screen. For weight enforcement with the highest accuracy, the system can be switched to static operation mode with computer-based processing providing reporting, ticket printing and ticket archiving.

The system enables high vehicle throughput, especially when using two sets of IRD SAW scales (one set in dynamic mode for pre-selection and the other in static mode for weight enforcement).

Suitable for twin tyre weighing, the low profile unit is designed to meet OIML R134 and is said to be lightweight, rugged and corrosion resistant.
