AGD launches smart city pedestrian detector

A new chip-set and sophisticated algorithms are said to enable AGD’s latest pedestrian detection systems, the AGD 645, to process information onboard and provide ultra-reliable detection and automated decision-making. A new chip-set and sophisticated algorithms are said to enable 559 AGD’s latest pedestrian detection systems, the AGD 645, to process information onboard and provide ultra-reliable detection and automated decision-making. Being IP-capable enables the 645 to feed real-time information and video straight into ITS control rooms to allow informed decision making.

Large zone ‘super-crossing’ compatible, the detector is smart cities and highways IP capable and features high-definition 3D stereo graphics, low light detection and simple tablet-to-device touch set-up.
