TfL describes reports of closer ties with Uber as ‘nonsense’
Transport for London (TfL) has described claims that it is deepening its relationship with Uber as ‘nonsense’.

But a spokesperson from TfL told ITS International that the only thing it is putting out is open data – and does not know if Uber is using it.
“Just having open data is not a ‘deepening’ of a relationship as it’s open to everyone,” the spokesperson added.

Via has launched an on-demand shared transit system for people over the age of 60 in the City of Newton, Massachusetts.

Ride-hailing platform Karhoo and Taksee – a Spanish provider of taxi services to the corporate market – have launched what they call a ‘roaming’ service.
Taksee is currently available via phone and app in Spain, and just via app in a number of other European cities, including London, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and Rome.
