Groupe PSA and Huawei partner on connected cars

Groupe PSA has entered a global partnership with Huawei Technologies to collaborate on its Connected Vehicle Modular Platform (CVMP) to provide mobility services to customers.

Groupe PSA has entered a global partnership with 6787 Huawei Technologies to collaborate on its Connected Vehicle Modular Platform (CVMP) to provide mobility services to customers.
  
CVMP is based on Huawei's OceanConnect IoT platform and will be deployed on top of Huawei's Cloud Family public cloud, which aims to connect hundreds of millions of vehicles and different industries. The connectivity is designed with the intention of enabling an integrated development of connected cars, smart homes, and smart cities, providing a full range of services for individuals, automobiles, and society.

Eric Xu, Huawei's rotating chief executive officer, said: Huawei is proud to become a partner of Groupe PSA in their global mobility service strategy. Groupe PSA leverages innovative solutions to provide mobility services to their customers. I believe that, by working with partners, Groupe PSA will be able to turn their mobility services into a new benchmark of the global automobile industry, and ultimately become a global leader."
