The high-performance, hardware-independent software tool assures reliable high speed recognition of vehicle number plates.

With a typical processing time of 30ms and a recognition accuracy of more than 96%, the ALPR/ ANPR library precisely and reliably identifies number plates, even if dirty, damaged or skewed. The software can be used throughout the world and recognises international number plates with more than 90% accuracy, even in changing lighting conditions.

Two-line vehicle plates are also recognised without any problem. Carrida is suitable for use with Windows- or Linux-based embedded systems and reads all common still image and video formats. An API enables integration into applications via the programming languages C/C++, .NET, Borland Delphi, Python, or C#.
