ISS combines radar sensor with HD camera for traffic detection

Image Sensing Systems (ISS) has added the RTMS Sx-300 radar sensor with HD camera to its traffic management product line, a combination the company says provides an all-in-one radar sensor for roadways detection. The RTMS Sx-300 HDCAM allows the user to verify the zone setup across all lanes and facilitate real-time visual traffic surveillance and its high definition camera also has dual streaming video channels.

6626 Image Sensing Systems (ISS) has added the RTMS Sx-300 radar sensor with HD camera to its traffic management product line, a combination the company says provides an all-in-one radar sensor for roadways detection. The RTMS Sx-300 HDCAM allows the user to verify the zone setup across all lanes and facilitate real-time visual traffic surveillance and its high definition camera also has dual streaming video channels.

ISS says the Sx-300 provides excellent lane detection capabilities and allows traffic managers to collect traffic data and imagery to manage their roadways more easily.

    ISS introduces Cyclescope bicycle detection feature
    Image Sensing Systems is using the ITS World Congress to introduce Cyclescope, the new bicycle differentiation and detection feature in the Autoscope software suite. According to the company, the new feature enhances bicycle detection capability and adds the ability to differentiate between bicycles and motorised vehicles as they approach the junction.     RTMS radar detectors for Asian Games
    Flow Traffic Limited, the Hong Kong-based wholly owned subsidiary of Image Sensing Systems, has won a large contract to supply vehicle detection systems to the city of Guangzhou, China. The contract is part of infrastructure improvements required for the Asian Games, a major sporting event to be held in Guangzhou from 12-27 November. The project will provide real time traffic guidance and journey time information to reduce congestion and travel time during the international event.
