IDS’ new USB 3.0 cameras offer multiple features

The latest USB 3.0 industrial cameras from IDS feature Sony’s second-generation 5 megapixel (2456 x 2054) Pregius CMOS sensors. The 2/3-inch IMX250 and IMX264 sensors’ 3.45µm pixel structure is said to deliver excellent quality and extremely low-noise images even under low-light conditions.

The latest USB 3.0 industrial cameras from 7178 IDS feature Sony’s second-generation 5 megapixel (2456 x 2054) Pregius CMOS sensors. The 2/3-inch IMX250 and IMX264 sensors’ 3.45µm pixel structure is said to deliver excellent quality and extremely low-noise images even under low-light conditions. In combination with the IDS Software Suite, additional features, including triggered linescan mode, multi AOI and long exposure up to 30 seconds will be available.

According to IDS, the cameras are suitable for the ITS market as well as classical machine vision applications measuring only 29 x 29 x 29mm and have an integrated image memory, magnesium housing and screw-on Micro USB 3.0 and Hirose connectors.
