545 Genetec has launched the SV-Pro, a true hybrid solution on the market that offers unified video surveillance and access control in a single appliance. Powered by the company’s unified security platform, the security centre, the SV-Pro can also be deployed in video-only and access control-only installations. This launch expands Genetec’s series of SV network security appliances, adding a device ideal for mid-size and standalone hybrid applications to the mix. With a variety of deployment options available, the SV-Pro can accommodate up to 100 cameras, or up to 256 readers.
