686 Pelco has announced a network device installation tool, Device Utility 2. This free utility allows users to set and adjust multiple IP addresses at once, making managing multiple IP addresses hassle-free in one simple step. It enables advanced configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of supported Pelco network devices.

Additionally, Device Utility 2 users can assign static IP addresses and easily locate free IP addresses in a specific range and assign them to IP devices. Thumbnail views help identify individual cameras within DU2, which also gives users the ability to store settings and seamlessly manage hundreds of devices. It also provides added network security by allowing administrators to hide IP cameras or Pelco devices from being discovered on their networks.Pelco has also launched a range of thermal imaging camera systems which have been built on the company's Sarix platform, with built-in analytics and IP capability. Available in both fixed and pan/tilt models, because the Sarix TI thermal imaging series are hybrid analogue/IP cameras, they are flexible enough to fit into any new or existing system
