518 Allied Vision Technologies has expanded its compact Prosilica GT digital camera range to include five new high-resolution models from 9.2 to 29 megapixels.

Designed for imaging in extreme temperatures from –20 to +65 degrees centigrade and fluctuating lighting conditions, Prosilica GT cameras feature precise and DC auto iris, as well as Power over Ethernet (PoE) and the latest CCD sensor technology, making them suited to a wide range of applications including intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and traffic imaging, machine vision, industrial inspection, security, surveillance and military uses.

The Prosilica GT4100 features a CMV12000 global shutter CMOS sensor from CMOSIS that offers high sensitivity, fast frame rates and high dynamic range with 12.6 megapixel resolution.

The Prosilica GT4905 and Prosilica GT4907 both feature a 16 mega-pixel Truesense Imaging CCD sensor. The GT4905 comes with the KAI-16050 CCD sensor in APS-H optical (32.36mm) diagonal format with a frame rate of 7.5fps. The GT4907’s KAI-16070 35mm sensor is based on a new 7.4 micron interline transfer CCD platform that provides increased smear rejection and linear dynamic range.

The 29 megapixel Prosilica GT6600 features the Truesense Imaging KAI-29050 CCD device, which, supported by the 5.5 µm pixel architecture from the KAI sensor family, provides high sensitivity and low noise performance. The Prosilica GT6600 camera outputs 6576 x 4384 pixels at 4fps. All three Truesense sensors feature a vertical overflow drain structure designed to suppress image blooming and enable electronics shuttering for precise exposure control. They are equipped with an F-mount as standard or an optional M58 mount and are compatible with a wide range of high-quality commercial and industrial lenses.
