The latest ANPR solution from Italian camera specialist 592 Tattile is, says the company, invaluable for national police and security forces.

The compact system comprises camera, infrared lighting, embedded OCR reader and processing software for automatic number plate recognition and is able to scan over 100 number plates per second, front and rear, in any light conditions. The system can read number plates from over eighty countries, which are transmitted via wi-fi to a computer, tablet, or Android smartphone for further processing. Data can be read as image or text and can be arranged in black or white lists. Embedded GPS provides contextual and location information.

Easy to install on a suitable vehicle and with low energy consumption, the camera can be set up and monitored via the web interface.
