The 2017 Gulf Traffic Exhibition and Conference, which will take place 4-6 December at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is taking a new direction, focusing on intelligent transport solutions (ITS), smart innovations and parking, along with a full re-brand. Australia’s National Electronic Tolling Forum (NeTC) 2016, hosted by ITS Australia, takes place in Brisbane on 25 and 26 May 2016. The program committee is now inviting speakers to submit abstracts for consideration for presentation.

Laser Technology is exhibiting its latest TruCapture and TruSense systems on its booth. TruCapture uses expanding optics to create an elongated laser beam with an optimum detection range of between 66 and 164ft (20 and 50m) and speed measurements are accurate within 3mph (5km/h) in traffic management mode and 1mph (1.6km/h) in enforcement mode.
