Vision 2016, recently held in Stuttgart, recorded a 13 per cent increase in visitors, with almost 10,000 visitors from 58 countries during the three days, which its organisers say underscores its position as a leading trade fair for machine vision. This year’s major topics, embedded vision, hyperspectral imaging and 3D machine vision attracted many visitors.

According to Ulrich Kromer, president and CEO of Messe Stuttgart, the event showed that Vision remains the most popular industry highlight for anyone who deals with machine vision.

In 2017 Messe Stuttgart and the European Machine Vision Association (EMVA) will hold the first European Embedded Vision Conference from 12-13 October 2017 in the International Congress Center Stuttgart (ICS).

The next Vision trade fair will be held in Stuttgart from 6-8 November 2018.
