In recognition of the growing importance of machine vision techniques in traffic management technology, 1846 ITS International’s publisher (Route One) is working with the organiser of the 6963 Vision Show (Stuttgart, Germany 6-8 November) to produce a special publication for the show and daily video reports.

While machine vision technology is well established in other sectors, applications in transportation have been slow to arrive but are now quickly catching up. The transport-focused publication will be handed out to Vision Show attendees and there will be seminars designed to bring the machine vision and transportation sectors closer together.

For the dedicated publication we have asked the big associations in both sectors to outline how machine vision techniques and equipment has developed and what the transport sector can learn from uses in other areas. We also question what transportation professionals would like such systems to deliver.

Those not planning to visit the show will be able to view the publication and videos online via %$Linker: 2 Internal <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?><dictionary /> 4 7198 0 oLinkInternal www.itsinternational.com Welcome to ITS International Page false / false false%>.
