Teleste Corporation is presenting its smart video surveillance and information management solution at Intersec 2018, in Dubai. It is said to provide an efficient and future-proof security hub for smart city security and is aimed at the public transportation, public space and airport verticals.

Called Teleste S-VMX (S-VMX), the innovation is designed with the intention of enabling a selection of smart features and functionalities for monitoring and managing situations in real time. It also allows users to connect video footage and data from various sources, including situation and event management, video content analytics as well as third-party and legacy systems.

S-VMX is intended to evolve alongside changing security needs and can be scaled from a small system to one covering multiple sites and organizations. It integrates and simplifies system infrastructure and data, facilitating collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as well as ensuring that relevant information can be shared without compromising network, system and data security.

The solution also allows tablets, smartphones and laptops to connect to the central management system, providing real-time visibility to mobile devices via 4G/3G or Wi-Fi. The location of devices is displayed on georeferenced maps, and live transmission of video and audio material is available between the mobile devices and the operations centre.
