Geva 400 comes with Intel quad-core Atom architecture and is expected to offer low power consumption for a range of machine vision applications. The system can be expanded with an optional PL-USB companion module that offers I/O expansion and integration for up to four GigE cameras.
Additionally, the product comes with ethernet and serial ports for communicating with third-party devices and four USB ports for setup and run-time control and a factory enterprise, dedicated display.
Transportation company Nauto has launched its Prevent solution to help eliminate distracted driving by alerting motorists when their eyes have strayed off the road for too long. The company hopes to reduce accidents and collisions - before the large-scale arrival of autonomous vehicles.
A report by TechCrunch says the device will send a voice notification if motorists are distracted for more than five seconds and are driving at 60mph. An alarm will follow if the user's attention has not returned to drivi
Matrix Vision now offers its dual-Gigabit Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.0 industrial cameras interfaced with the new Sony IMX174 CMOS sensor, which the company says sets standards in dynamic, speed, quantum efficiency and noise.
The 1.5-inch sensor has a resolution of 1936 x 1214 pixels and reaches a frame rate of 128fps in the dual-GigE model mvBlueCOUGAR-XD using the burst mode, 52fps in the GigE family mvBlueCOUGAR-X, and 162fps in the USB 3.0 model mvBlueFOX3. Even in situations with difficul
Teledyne Dalsa’s Genie Nano series is engineered to meet the critical performance and environmental requirements of traffic and transportation applications. From VGA to 9M, 12M, 16M and now 25M, Genie Nano delivers high speed and exceptional image quality.
Teledyne Dalsa has expanded its product offering to the ITS sector. Firstly, it has added 16 and 25 megapixel monochrome cameras (the M4090 and M5100) to its Genie Nano GigE Vision series.
