Redvision adds two fixed camera options for Vega

Manufacturer of rugged CCTV products Redvision has added two pre-built, fixed-camera options to its Vega, rugged housing range. It includes the cable-managed Vega 2052, with a 2MP camera module and Vega 2054, which features a 4MP camera module. Both products are said to offer protection from dirt, moisture and dust ingress. Manufacturer of rugged CCTV products 8785 Redvision has added two pre-built, fixed-camera options to its Vega, rugged housing range. It includes the cable-managed Vega 2052, with a 2MP camera module and Vega 2054, which features a 4MP camera module. Both products are said to offer protection from dirt, moisture and dust ingress.


The cable-manged devices come with terminals that aim to provide protection against vandalism. In addition, they can be installed with a pendent or pedestal mount for ceilings, walls and soffits.

Stephen Lightfoot, technical director at Redvision, said: “The Vega 2052 and 2054, fixed, rugged cameras are based on the high-quality, 2MP or 4MP, Sony Exmor, Low Light Sensor. They both offer 2.7 ~ 12mm motorised zoom lens, Smart IR - up to 60m, audio in/out, true Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and Region of interest (ROI) settings. Further features include video analytics; SD card edge storage up to 128GB; alarm triggers for motion or network loss; H.264 and H.265 compression options; and ONVIF compliance to Profile S 2.6.”

    Redvision upgrades VMS1000 control system
    Redvision has updated its VMS1000 open-platform control system which it says can be used for traffic management and vehicle counting.
