Video surveillance solutions provider 8011 Hikvision has been awarded the CCTV Product of the Year 2016 category in the PSI Premier Awards for its range of Darkfighter PTZ cameras. The ultra-low-light cameras provide clear colour images down to as low as 0.002 lux, in black and white to 0.0002 lux, and to 0 lux with IR.

UK security industry magazine PSI makes its Premier Awards annually, with a reader vote honouring the products and distributors deemed the best the industry has to offer. According to PSI editor Andy Clutton, over 1000 nominations were received across the Awards' eight categories in 2016. Features, benefits, ease of installation and service were all factors taken into consideration in the nomination process.
