RSS81 Kapsch TrafficCom has been awarded the 70 Intertraffic Innovation Award in the Safety category for its new tunnel safety product Automatic Camera Calibration (ACC) at Intertraffic Amsterdam. The new tunnel safety product, ACC, beat numerous other entries to win by virtue of its extraordinary speed, precision, cost-efficient and the unambiguous safety aspect.

With ACC, Kapsch presents a revolutionary and simple way of calibrating tunnel cameras within the scope of its Incident Detection System 2.0. “The calibration of detection cameras in tunnels used to be expensive and time-intensive, said Marcus Braun, product manager video & sensor solutions at Kapsch. “With ACC, this process has been optimised in various ways. The award at Intertraffic in Amsterdam reflects the interest of visitors in the tunnel safety products of Kapsch.”
