Ctrack bolsters Swarco’s telematics solution

October 10, 2019 Read time: 1 min

Ctrack by Inseego is expanding Swarco’s telematics solution by providing the Driver Mobi app to promote responsible driving among its van fleet.

Ctrack says the app communicates driving scores to staff via a smartphone alongside company or team scores. Drivers can use the online feedback to identify individual areas of improvement, the company adds.

Additionally, a smartphone-enabled vehicle checklist will allow users to complete their safety inspections electronically, providing the operations team with visibility of compliance and maintenance requests.

Ctrack says this will help to better coordinate vehicle repairs, minimise downtime and capture the necessary evidence required for ongoing FORS (fleet operator recognition scheme) accreditation.

The voluntary scheme for fleet operators is aimed at raising the levels of quality within fleet operations and demonstrating which operators are achieving high levels of safety and environmental protection.
